zzess is committed to creating a safe online environment for users of all ages. These Child & Adolescent Protection Rules ("the Rules") outline the special protections, restrictions, and responsibilities that apply when a user under the age of 18 ("Minor") uses the Service or when any user interacts with content related to minors.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By registering an account, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement or have obtained parental consent.
For users under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and consent to these Rules, the User Agreement, and the Privacy Policy before account creation. Parents are responsible for supervising their child's use of the Service and for any health data the minor chooses to record or share.
The following content is strictly prohibited on the Service:
Health data belonging to a minor is treated with heightened sensitivity. Parents or guardians manage consent for data sharing until the minor reaches 18. zzess will not share a minor's health data with any third party — including providers — without explicit parental consent through the Consent Center.
We employ automated and manual moderation to detect and remove content that may harm minors. Users can report inappropriate content through the in-app reporting tools. All reports involving minors are prioritized and reviewed within 24 hours. Suspected child exploitation content is reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Provider users must exercise additional care when interacting with minor patients. All provider-to-minor communications must comply with applicable pediatric care standards and parental consent requirements. Inappropriate contact with minors will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
zzess supports age-appropriate wellness education content for adolescents. Content tagged as youth-oriented must be reviewed by our moderation team before publication. Health tracking features for minors are limited to wellness metrics (e.g., sleep, exercise) and do not include diagnostic or treatment data without parental involvement.
Violation of these Rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban. In cases involving potential harm to a minor, zzess will cooperate fully with law enforcement and child protection agencies.
These Rules may be updated as the Service evolves and as legal requirements change. We will notify parents and guardians of significant changes through the Service or via email.
